The essential oil of German chamomile is dark blue due to the presence of the medicinal compound chamazulene, which is formed during the distillation of the essential oil. Key medicinal compounds include chamazulene, α-bisabolol, and bisabolol oxides. It has a beneficial effect on dry and sensitive skin, helps maintain moisture, and supports the skin's ability to regenerate.
The balm can also be used for lip care and as an aromatherapy perfume. It is intended for external use only. It does not contain mineral oils, preservatives, synthetic fragrances, or colors. Store at room temperature.
