Apricot Brandy Žufánek is a smooth yet distinctly fruity distillate made from perfectly ripe apricot fruits. It is produced through triple distillation, which preserves the purity of expression, silky texture, and full aroma typical of ripe fruit.
The aroma is open and layered, with a clear trace of fresh stone fruits and a subtle hint of compote. The taste is round, juicy, and long. No harshness, no residual sugar. The distillate feels pure, concentrated, and elegantly lingers.
This balance makes it an ideal digestif after a good meal. The taste does not overwhelm. It concludes calmly and precisely.
The production is among the most demanding in the category of fruit distillates. We need approximately 14 kilograms of perfectly ripe fruits for one liter. This ratio directly reflects in the concentration, fullness, and natural character of the distillate.
Serving and Storage
The recommended serving and storage temperature is 10 to 16 °C.
At temperatures below approximately 8 °C, cloudiness or the formation of fine bluish particles may occur. This is caused by the precipitation of natural aromatic oils. It is a natural phenomenon, not a defect.
There is no reason to chill or freeze the distillate. These rare aromatic oils carry its character. Without them, the result would taste like neutral alcohol.
