Extra Pear Jam from Sicily: Sweetness and Artisan Quality
Our pear jam is made from the selection of the best pears, harvested at the perfect ripeness to ensure a rich and natural aroma. A simple and genuine recipe, ideal for those who wish to buy pear jam online directly from the producers in Sicily.
Artisan Processing and Rich Consistency
We process fresh fruit at low temperatures to preserve its aromatic notes, natural sweetness, and nutritional properties. The Extra recipe ensures a high quantity of fresh pears, giving a soft, dense, and perfectly spreadable consistency.
- Genuine Recipe: No added preservatives, colorants, or artificial flavors.
- Chunky Consistency: Soft, velvety, and pleasant on the palate.
Usage Tips and Gourmet Pairings in the Kitchen
Pear jam is a classic of tradition, perfect for both breakfast and refined savory pairings:
- Breakfast: Delicious spread on warm buttered bread, toast, pancakes, or waffles.
- In Pastry: Ideal for filling shortcrust tarts, soft cakes, cookies, and for creating spoon desserts in combination with dark chocolate.
- Cheese Pairing (A Gourmet Classic): Pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses (Sicilian Pecorino, Parmigiano Reggiano, Caciocavallo) and blue cheeses like Gorgonzola or Roquefort.
