Extra Pear Jam from Etna: Volcanic Sweetness
The pear jam from Etna is made from one of the most prized and characteristic varieties of pear in Sicily. Grown in the fertile and volcanic soils of Mount Etna, Coscia pears stand out for their white, melting flesh and intensely aromatic fragrance. The ideal choice for those looking to purchase pear jam from Etna online produced directly in its land of origin.
Artisanal Processing and Extra Quality
We only work with fresh fruit at low temperatures to preserve its natural sweetness, enveloping aroma, and organoleptic properties. Our Extra recipe ensures a high presence of pear pulp, resulting in a soft, dense, and perfectly spreadable product.
- Etna Excellence: Only fresh Coscia pears grown on the slopes of Etna.
- Genuine Recipe: No added preservatives, colorants, or artificial flavors.
- Fruity Consistency: Velvety, rich in flavor, and with a naturally pleasant grain.
Usage Tips and Gourmet Pairings in the Kitchen
The distinct delicacy of the Coscia pear makes this jam a great classic for the table and a refined ingredient for cooking:
- Breakfast: Excellent spread on warm buttered bread, toast, pancakes, or brioche.
- In Pastry: Perfect for filling shortcrust tarts, muffins, stuffed cookies, and for cakes paired with dark chocolate.
- Savory Pairings (Gourmet): Pairs wonderfully with a platter of aged cheeses (Pecorino Siciliano, Caciocavallo) and with blue cheeses like Gorgonzola or Roquefort.
