Sea buckthorn is a truly miraculous plant. It ripens from August to October, the fruits have a characteristic orange color and are difficult to harvest because sea buckthorn bushes have very thorny thorns. The fruits contain ten times more vitamin C than an orange, as well as many other vitamins such as A, E, F, or B and a large amount of minerals. Sea buckthorn significantly supports the immune system and helps the body resist stress. It is precisely because of the high content of healthy and supportive substances that we decided to prepare a liqueur from sea buckthorn, preserving the maximum from the original raw material, and since it is a purely natural, low-alcohol drink, we call it an elixir. We adjusted the alcohol concentration so that one large shot of this elixir contains the daily recommended dose of vitamin C for an adult.
