Sukaldia Basque Kitchen Knife
Tradition and Performance
Sukaldia is a handcrafted Basque kitchen knife that combines the knife-making tradition of the Basque Country with modern culinary performance. Its name, which means "kitchen" in Basque, perfectly reflects its use: a tool designed to enhance all your culinary preparations.
An Exceptional Carbon Steel Blade
This knife features a raw tempered carbon steel blade, known for its hardness, ability to maintain a lasting sharpness, and cutting precision. This blade offers clean and efficient cuts, ideal for working with vegetables, meats, or fish with ease.
The handle of the Sukaldia is crafted from boxwood from the Basque Country, a noble material that provides both a warm aesthetic and a comfortable grip. Each handle is unique due to the natural variations in the wood's grain and color.
An Artisan Kitchen Companion
Handmade in the TALAIA workshop, this knife represents the excellence of Basque craftsmanship: robust, precise, and designed to last. Over time, its carbon steel blade will develop a beautiful patina that will give it a unique and personal character.
Care Instructions
To preserve the quality of the blade and handle, it is recommended to wash the knife by hand and to wipe the blade immediately after cleaning. The use of a dishwasher should be avoided. Dimensions and characteristics
