Vizovice Plum Brandy begins its story long before distillation. In 2003, we continued the historical tradition of Vizovice fruit growing and started planting our own plum orchards. This way, we are returning fruit trees to the landscape, which have been a symbol of Vizovice for centuries. Today, Vizovice Plum Brandy is made from their harvest – a distillate whose quality we influence from the first blossom to the last drop in the glass.

Each vintage of Vizovice Plum Brandy is unique. It is created only from the harvest of one year and reflects the character of the Vizovice orchards, the weather, and the work of the people behind its creation.

The plums for Vizovice Plum Brandy come exclusively from the own Vizovice orchards of RUDOLF JELÍNEK, which continue the long-standing fruit-growing tradition of this region. Thanks to careful selection of varieties, gentle cultivation, and harvesting at optimal ripeness, the fruit possesses exceptional qualities for producing a top-quality distillate.

The 2024 vintage is based on a carefully balanced blend of five varieties – Čačanská lepotica, Čačanská rodná, Stanley, Durancie, and Presenty, with each represented in equal parts. By combining their strengths, a plum brandy with a uniquely harmonious fruity character has been created.

After distillation, it matures on dried plums, which give it a typical golden color and gently round its flavor. Honey notes develop in the aroma, while the taste reveals a full fruity expression with subtle jammy tones and a long harmonious finish.

The year 2024 brought challenging climatic conditions for fruit growers, yet a quality harvest was achieved, resulting in a balanced distillate with a character typical of Vizovice plums. Each numbered bottle represents the imprint of the 2024 harvest, the Vizovice orchards, and the work of the fruit growers and distillers.
