It is created by soaking walnut shells in olive oil for at least 1 year, then pressing them to obtain the beneficial walnut oil. This mixture has many beneficial effects due to its moisturizing, soothing, and regenerative properties.
- Insect protection: Walnut oil is known for not attracting troublesome insects – thus its repellent properties, especially against mosquitoes. The oil can be applied directly to exposed parts of the body, such as hands, legs, and neck, to provide protection against insects.
