Plum brandy that has been given time. And a barrel.
The base is the same as our clear plum brandy – 100% natural cuvée from eight varieties of plums from our own organic orchards in the White Carpathians. The difference comes later. Part of the distillate is stored in a oak barrel, where it slowly changes, softens, and rounds out.
The oak does not overpower the plum brandy. It only adds golden color, subtle vanilla and woody notes, and a calmer, rounder expression. However, it takes something back – part of the distillate naturally evaporates during aging. The so-called angel's share.
Each batch is produced in the volume of one barrel – 225 liters. Nothing more. No topping up, no blending. What is in the bottle is exactly what came out of the barrel.
This is a plum brandy that you do not drink in one go. It makes sense to sit down with it.
Tasting profile
Round, smooth, plum. Light notes of wood and vanilla, long and calm finish.
How we drink it
Ideally at 12–18 °C, in a glass that allows the aroma to breathe. Chilling makes no sense – here you want to feel the fruit, the barrel, and the time.
