ACTION AND APPLICATION: In folk medicine, this herb has long been used for stomach ailments, digestive problems and bloating, menstrual discomfort, cough, and headaches. The active substances in the plant exhibit antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties and are also used in tea blends for bladder inflammation. It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under 12 years old.
PREPARATION: In two cups of boiling water, add oregano leaves (1 teaspoon) and simmer gently. The longer the leaves are steeped, the more bitter the tea will become, so taste it occasionally. If necessary, add honey to the tea.
