Slotted spatula made of boxwood handcrafted in Spain. Ideal for cooking recipes with plenty of oil, also for fish, its shape makes it very comfortable for flipping pieces of meat or fish. Also suitable for serving.

Boxwood is one of the most durable woods and is ideal for making kitchen utensils. Its texture and firmness prevent oil from penetrating the wood, preventing staining, and it is also easy to wash. Many chefs praise the virtues of boxwood utensils.

• Color: Yellowish cream, which darkens slightly after exposure to sunlight.
• Grain: Straight or slightly irregular.
• Texture: Fine.
• Density: It has an approximate density of 975 kg/m³ at 12% moisture.
• Hardness: A hardness on the “Janka Scale” of 2,840 lb_f (12,610 N), similar to that of American white oak. Very hard wood.
• Durability: It is a durable wood regarding moisture.

Boxwood

Boxwood is a quality wood known especially for its qualities in the manufacture of all kinds of utensils. Its scientific name is “buxus sempervirens”.
