ACTION AND APPLICATION: Basil essential oil has been proven to act against certain intestinal parasites as well as an insecticide. Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and small children are particularly advised to avoid excessive and prolonged use of this plant and its essential oil. It is not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children under 12 years old.

PREPARATION: Pour 2 teaspoons (3 g) of basil leaves with 150 ml (1 cup) of boiling water. Let it steep covered for 10-15 minutes and then strain. Drink as needed 2-3 times a day between meals.
1 teaspoon = about 1.5 g
