ACTION AND APPLICATION: Used for the therapy of rinsing the urinary tract in cases of bacterial inflammation of the bladder and kidney stones. The active effects are primarily attributed to the flavonoids and ascorbic acid contained in the leaves, which have been shown to exhibit antioxidant properties. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under 12 years of age.

PREPARATION: Pour 1 full tablespoon (2 g) of crushed dried birch leaves with about 150 ml (1 cup) of boiling water. Let it steep covered for 10-15 minutes and then strain. Drink as needed, multiple times a day, one cup. It is recommended not to exceed the daily amount of 3-4 g of dried birch leaves.
