We have poured all the strength of the comfrey root into a glass jar. The concentrated comfrey balm accelerates recovery after an accident due to the high concentration of extracts from comfrey root, arnica flowers, and bay essential oil. Comfrey ointment is a well-known preparation in folk medicine. With the help of concentrated extracts, we have transformed it into a concentrated comfrey balm. Although comfrey ointment is a well-known classic, we have enhanced the texture, making the balm easy to spread.

What is BIOVITALIS® Concentrated Comfrey Balm used for?

We developed the concentrated comfrey balm to alleviate all discomforts related to injuries. The main ingredient, comfrey root, has been used for centuries as an aid for painful sprains, dislocations, strained muscles, and tendons. We have also added arnica, a plant known for its anti-inflammatory effect, and bay essential oil, which has long been recognized as a remedy for reducing bruises.

If you prefer a gel formula with an additional cooling sensation, try Arnica and Comfrey Special Gel 100ml, and a 40ml package is also available.

Who can use BIOVITALIS® Concentrated Comfrey Balm?

The concentrated comfrey balm can be used by children over 6 years old and adults, except for pregnant and nursing women, to alleviate discomfort associated with injuries. Comfrey is indeed a powerful plant, and we do not recommend using the balm for more than two weeks. Anyone engaged in physical activities, especially athletes, will surely reach for the balm to recover from injuries as quickly as possible and continue training.

What is in BIOVITALIS® Concentrated Comfrey Balm?

The high concentration of comfrey root extract is the main star of this balm. Comfrey is a plant that has been used in folk medicine for centuries, rich in allantoin, a component that accelerates healing and regeneration. We have further enhanced the balm with allantoin for even faster and stronger restoration and healing. Besides comfrey, the balm is rich in arnica extract – a powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient that helps reduce swelling and alleviate discomfort. For quicker recovery, we have also added bay essential oil, which promotes blood circulation and adds a subtle herbal scent to the balm. Vitamin E is included as an antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals and promotes its elasticity. The balm absorbs easily and does not leave greasy traces because we formulated it based on almond oil, which nourishes the skin, and we stabilized the entire formulation with beeswax. And that’s all that is in the Concentrated Comfrey Balm.

What is NOT in BIOVITALIS® Concentrated Comfrey Balm?

Only seven ingredients are enough for a balm that will accelerate recovery from injuries. Nothing else was needed, so the balm does not contain preservatives, petroleum jelly, or synthetic ingredients. Likewise, we have not tested the balm on animals, and we are proud that it is 100% natural. We packaged it in a dark glass jar to keep it unchanged and safe for use for as long as possible. The cardboard box in which the jar is contained can be recycled, just like the jar itself (it is only necessary to separate the lid into plastic and the jar into glass).
