Willow Bark 50 g, Salicis cortex

ACTION AND APPLICATION: Salicylates in willow lower temperature, have anti-inflammatory effects, and alleviate pain. It is used for colds and illnesses with high fever, for rheumatic complaints, and for headaches. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 12 years old.

PREPARATION: Pour 2 - 3 g (1 - 2 teaspoons) of well-ground plant with 150 ml (1 cup) of cold water, bring to a boil, and strain after 5 minutes. Drink one cup 3-5 times a day of this prepared tea. The daily dose is 3 - 6 g.
