ACTION AND APPLICATION: They promote bile secretion and help prevent spasms of the smooth muscles of the digestive tract. Yarrow is most commonly used for digestive issues such as mild cramps in the digestive tract, stomach, and bile, as well as for loss of appetite. In external applications, yarrow is used for skin and mucous membrane inflammation and for the care of slow-healing wounds. In folk medicine, it is used as a means to stop bleeding, for hemorrhoids, and menstrual issues. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 12 years old.

PREPARATION: Pour 2 g (1 teaspoon) of crushed herb with 150 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, let it steep covered for 10-15 minutes, and then strain. Drink 2-4 cups of tea between meals. Daily dose: 4-5 g. For external use, use the prepared tea for compresses or rinsing. For a bath: 100 g of herb in 20 l of water.
