Lubifood is a family company built on the true story of Thea, a young girl diagnosed with the rare metabolic disorder homocystinuria. When her parents discovered the lack of high-quality low-protein foods available on the market, they set out to find a better solution. Thea’s mother, Bibiana, discovered an innovative fermented rice with significantly reduced protein content and, together with her father Ľuboš, founded Lubifood. Today, the company distributes Echigo fermented rice throughout the European Union and offers other premium low-protein products made from carefully selected ingredients. Combining family values, innovation, and a commitment to improving lives, Lubifood helps people with special nutritional needs enjoy food without compromise.
