Why choose the Cherry pillow filled with cherry pits?
The pillow with natural filling made from cherry pits acts as a heating or cooling pad, or as a natural hot water bottle for cooling and warming specific parts of the body. They have a beneficial effect on stress issues by allowing you to take a short nap with a slightly warm pillow that you can use on your neck or cool it down and place it over your eyes. It can help soothe headaches or support the neck during a massage.
When to use a cold pillow?
- To reduce swelling and pain
- As an eye pillow
- For sinus issues
- To cool sports injuries, sprains.
The pillow, which acts as a natural hot water bottle, can be cooled in the freezer for 30 minutes and used as a compress on the painful area.
When to use a warm pillow?
- For arthritis and various inflammations
- For menstrual cramps and abdominal pain
- For joint pain
- For tired and strained muscles
- On stressful days
You heat the pillow by placing it in the oven at 100°C (the oven must be preheated) for 2 minutes or heating it in the microwave for 30 seconds at 700 watts.
We recommend that the pillow (hot water bottle), which acts as a cold or heating pad, be shaken from time to time and that you add a little water to the pits so they do not completely dry out over the years, making it easier for the pillow to heat up and retain warmth longer.
