GOLDCOCK Blended 42% 0.7l

The original Czech whisky "Gold Cock" has been produced since 1978 in Těšetice near Olomouc and was blended. It was produced as a three-year-old 40% blended whisky for nearly twenty years. The revolutionary year of 1989 brought significant changes for this brand as well. In addition to design innovations, production was expanded to include six-year-old and twelve-year-old single malt whisky. Despite these efforts, the distillery ended up in auction, and thus came under the ownership of the Vizovice company RUDOLF JELÍNEK, where the bottling of the original stock of distillate continued, and soon their own production was added. A completely new portfolio was accompanied by a rebranding of the brand and a change of name to GOLDCOCK. A basic product line was established, which is enriched by several limited editions each year. However, the new portfolio still lacked the foundation of the former brand, namely the blended whisky, whose production was halted after the old stocks from the original distillery were consumed. We have been diligently working on replacing the blend with distillates from the current distillery.
