Žufánek Pear Brandy is a smooth 45% distillate made from Williams pears. The characteristic properties of this delicious variety give the distillate a long-lasting pear flavor.
In the preparation of the mash and the actual production, we follow the same meticulous process as with our plum brandy. Therefore, we select only the highest quality Williams pears sourced exclusively from Moravian orchards. Special emphasis is placed on the unique fermentation method, which allows us to transfer all aromatic and flavor elements into the distillate.
To produce 1 liter of Pear Brandy from 2021, we needed exactly 12.5 kg of juicy pears.
The recommended serving and storage temperature is between 10 – 15 °C. At temperatures below approximately 8 °C, a slight cloudiness may occur due to the precipitation of aromatic oils.
