Mead with a unique taste

The original mead is the flagship product of the Elisa brand. Its unique sweet-bitter taste is the result of the honey, herbs, and spices used.

Traditional honest mead from Nivnice. Elisa has been produced according to the original family recipe since 1973. It is made from the best Czech honeys using a non-thermal process to preserve all the significant substances in honey. After fermentation, it matures in deep air-conditioned cellars. Its base is honey and water treated with Bio Control System technology. The mixture of herbs and spices then gives the mead its unmistakable flavor.

Refreshing in summer, warming in winter

Mead can be consumed chilled or heated. In the summer months, it refreshes wonderfully when served at a temperature of 12-16 degrees Celsius. In winter, we heat the mead in an uncovered container to a maximum temperature of 50 to 60 degrees Celsius so that it does not boil. We can add a slice of lemon to both cold and warm mead.
