We handpick them thoughtfully – \u003cstrong\u003eonly those that grow far enough from the fruits\u003c\/strong\u003e to still provide natural shade for the figs. These leaves are the basis for a product that has genuinely surprised us.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFig leaves contain vitamins \u003cstrong\u003eA, B1, and B2\u003c\/strong\u003e as well as minerals such as \u003cstrong\u003epotassium, calcium, manganese, iron, sodium, and phosphorus\u003c\/strong\u003e. Folk tradition attributes numerous beneficial properties to them, especially in the form of tea or infusions. Here, they have taken on another, very special role.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePart of the leaves is fermented (for culinary experiments, such as fig “sarmice”), part is dried for tea, \u003cstrong\u003ebut the largest and best part ends up in a large pot on the stove\u003c\/strong\u003e.
