Balanced base for strong and stable fermentation
This tea blend has been designed as a reliable base for making kombucha. The ratio of 40% Ceylon tea and 60% Assam is not accidental – it combines the freshness and light citrus spark of Ceylon with the fullness, structure, and tannins of Assam.
This balance creates the ideal environment for controlled fermentation. The result is kombucha with a full body, deeper flavor, and stable maturation process.
Character of the resulting kombucha
Kombucha from this blend has:
– more pronounced structure
– subtle tea depth
– balanced acidity
– solid body suitable for further flavoring
It is ideal for both pure, classic kombucha and as a base for secondary fermentation with fruits or herbs.
Who it is suitable for:
• for home production
• for cafes and establishments
• for those who want consistent results
• for fermentation where control and stability are important
This is not a universal blend. This blend is intended exclusively for kombucha.
