Legendary, mysterious, and sinful drink of bohemians, artists, and bar loungers, prepared according to original methods and recipes. Absinthe St. Antoine is one of the few Czech absinthes born from distillation of carefully selected herbs (wormwood, anise, fennel, lemon balm, and others).
St. Antoine is prepared only from herbs that we either grow ourselves or purchase from the best locations. The base consists of ultra-fine alcohol and wine distillate, in which selected herbs and spices are macerated for a precisely determined period. After maceration, distillation occurs, resulting in a clear distillate. To this distillate, another portion of herbs is added, whose chlorophyll gives the absinthe its specific color and further enhances its aroma and flavor.
Absinthe is prepared by slowly adding ice water in a ratio of 1:3, meaning if you pour 3 cl into a glass, you add just under a deciliter of water. This way, you obtain a glass of delicious herbal drink with an alcohol content almost the same as wine. In this manner, you can prepare about 2 liters of properly prepared absinthe from a whole bottle.
