Elegant pair of roasting cutlery, designed by Tapio Wirkkala, consisting of a fork and a forged knife. Kitchen utensils made of forged steel and rosewood (with a rhomboidal section that allows for a perfect grip). Typically Nordic elements, such as the elegant and elongated design of the kitchen utensils, the use of rosewood for the handles, and the shape of the handles, combine with the use of steel that is a testament to the craftsmanship of the Zani company. Finlandia still carries extraordinary relevance today and represents one of the highest syntheses of purity of form and practical function. The Finlandia program, created with the great Finnish master Tapio Wirkkala and his son Sami, consists of a group of kitchen utensils made of forged steel and rosewood (with a rhomboidal section that allows for a perfect grip), and a series of teapots, coffee makers, and serving trays made of high-thickness stainless steel. Typically Nordic elements, such as the elegant and elongated design of the kitchen utensils, the use of rosewood for the handles, and the shape of the handles of teapots and coffee makers, combine with the use of steel that is a testament to the craftsmanship of the company. Finlandia still carries extraordinary relevance today and represents one of the highest syntheses of purity of form and practical function. The meeting with Tapio Wirkkala in the early 1980s is one of the most beautiful and important moments in the activity of Serafino Zani, and the resulting project becomes one of the defining elements of the company's identity and orientation. From that almost casual meeting and the subsequent human and artistic enrichment, objects designed in a European way are born: the only ones that can satisfy the demand for 'beauty' and 'symbols' that comes from all over the world. The design concept of the Finlandia line is essentiality, suggested by nature, whose call during the long winter months of Northern Europe becomes a poignant Muse that guides and inspires. Hand washing is recommended. The package includes 1 roasting knife, 1 meat fork.
