R. JELÍNEK and kosher
The R. JELÍNEK range has included "kosher" products since the 1930s, when Rudolf Jelínek began successfully exporting them to the USA and other countries in 1934.
Kosher spirits are produced in accordance with Jewish faith; this means that no raw materials, production equipment, or processes that contradict Jewish regulations are used. A rabbi personally supervises each stage of the production process, from selecting the best varieties of plums at advanced ripeness, through handling the mash, distillation, to bottling. Fermentation and aging take place in tanks sealed by the rabbi. The entire production process is certified with a hechser, i.e., a "kosher" certificate, provided that the required rules are followed.
