The production of borovička has been rooted in Vizovice for centuries and is inseparably linked to the history of local distilling and the company RUDOLF JELÍNEK. The traditional production method based on the distillation of juniper has been preserved here to this day. Modern technology now contributes to even higher purity and smoothness of the distillate, without disturbing its characteristic juniper expression.

Slovácká borovička is among the longest-produced products of RUDOLF JELÍNEK and has represented the traditional form of this popular juniper distillate for generations.

An interesting fact is the very name of the product. It originated in the 1930s during the successful export of RUDOLF JELÍNEK products to the USA. At that time, Slovak borovička was enjoying considerable success in the American market, leading to the creation of Slovácká borovička – a name that was easily memorable for foreign customers and clearly referred to the origin and character of the distillate.

In addition to the traditional Slovácká borovička, limited editions and variants aged in oak barrels are now being created, showcasing further possibilities of this exceptional juniper distillate.
