After more than ten years of experience with our own plum orchards, we decided to invest in apricot and cherry orchards as well.In 2014, we established a 14-hectare cherry orchardin Kostelany near Kroměříž.
Distilling has a long tradition in Wallachia, so it is no surprise that in addition to plums, late varieties of dark cherries typical for the region have also begun to be distilled here. These cherries thrive at the foothills of the Beskids, achieving ideal ripeness and sugar content. These cherry varieties are processed using traditional recipes while employing modern technologies. Mature cherry mash with pits undergoes triple distillation and ages for at least a year in stainless steel tanks before bottling, which harmonizes the flavors and aromas and contributes to the overall "roundness."
We recommend serving the cherry brandy at room temperature, as this allows for the full development of its flavor and aroma.
