"True ceremonial" Matcha is a high-quality Matcha suitable not only for top-notch barista use - for preparing cold and hot beverages, but also as tea in pure water, or as part of premium smoothies and chocolates. Products with True ceremonial Matcha are full of spring antioxidants from the best that a 21-day shaded tea plant from Uji from the first spring harvest has to offer. The beautiful green color and delicious taste of the well-processed Tencha from the cultivars Gokou, Yamakai, and others confirm the high quality and uniqueness of this spring tea.
This Matcha is very freshly ground, ensuring maximum quality, which is absolutely essential for achieving the desired positive effects of green tea.
The catechins and polyphenols in Matcha are a hundred times more effective than vitamin C - these results are confirmed by the University of Kansas. Polyphenols protect us from free radicals and UV radiation, thus improving the condition of the skin and complexion. It contains high doses of L-Theanine, an amino acid that reduces stress and anxiety levels and helps with concentration, improves memory, and keeps us in a focused alertness along with caffeine, which is released into the body gradually, making its effect uniquely longer than, for example, coffee. However, let us not forget that not all Matcha is the same. Everything depends on the quality of the Matcha.
