This course will provide you with the best foundations for entering the world of (not only) homemade natural cosmetics!
Who is the course intended for?
Complete beginners as well as more advanced individuals who want to verify the correctness of their procedures or supplement their knowledge.
What will you learn in the course?
- how to distinguish quality and natural cosmetics from "natural" cosmetics that only pretend to be - we will learn to read the INCI list of ingredients on packaging
- what the basic ingredients of natural cosmetics are and how they differ from standard commercial products
- which common cosmetic ingredients are potentially or demonstrably dangerous (including ethoxylated compounds)
- how cosmetic products are categorized from the perspective of production and use
- what basic and advanced tools are used in homemade cosmetics production
- how to disinfect tools and containers
- how anhydrous products (balms) are made
- how creams and body lotions are made (we will explain what an emulsion is and how it is created using emulsifiers)
- why pH is important and how to measure it
- we will discuss functional ingredients, natural preservatives, types of emulsifiers, oils, and hydrolates
Finally, we will move on to the practical part, where each of you will make:
- • lip balm
- • two facial creams using various emulsifiers and other ingredients of your choice (we will have a selection of different types of oils and hydrolates)
You will make all products by hand. Therefore, you will leave with materials, knowledge, and of course, the final products.
How does our course differ from others?
- We will teach you not only what and how, but also why. Only then can you confidently start experimenting. Missing an ingredient from the recipe? No problem, with the knowledge from our course, you will know how to replace it.
- In our courses, we use only the most natural ingredients that would pass the strict evaluation of the World Non Toxic group.

The course fee includes all materials and tools for production and refreshments (drinks, cookies, fruit). Lunch must be brought by yourself.

How to get to us: from the main train station in Brno by tram 12 towards Komárov, transfer at the stop Bus Station to bus no. 40 or transfer at the stop Konopná to bus no. 64.
