Stanley Variety
was cultivated in the early 20th century in the United States. It is an early variety that thrives well in our conditions. The fruits are medium to above average in size (30-37 g), elongated, with a firm skin of purple-blue color. The taste of the plums is pleasant, slightly sweet, and mildly aromatic.
Vizovice Plum Brandy R. JELÍNEK
We continued the Wallachian fruit-growing tradition in 2003 by planting our own plum orchards in the Těchlov area of Vizovice. We harvest and distill individual varieties separately to preserve their unique character.
We started producing Vizovice Plum Brandy in 2008, and since 2021 we have also introduced limited single cask editions — unique distillates aged in carefully selected barrels that give each edition an original character.
The Stanley variety is one of the most popular in fruit growing and is also well represented in our orchards. It is resistant to diseases, provides regular and high yields. The fruits are very juicy, and the greenish-yellow flesh has a floral honey-like aroma.
