Limited edition Žufánek plum brandy, which, thanks to long-term aging in an oak barrel, has gained a specific cognac tone in addition to its unique properties.
Such aged plum brandy is often referred to as "golden" and represents the crowning achievement of every plum brandy producer. The oak barrel imparts vanilla and woody tones to the brandy through its charring, but in return, it takes its toll in the form of a significant portion of the precious brandy that evaporates through it (the so-called angel's share).
Each batch of our oak barrel plum brandy is only 225 liters.
All the fruit used to produce Žufánek Plum Brandy comes from our own orchards in an organic farming system, located in the protected landscape area of Bílé Karpaty. The golden color of the plum brandy is the result of aging in an oak barrel.
