Al Dente saucepan with a diameter of 20 cm (without lid!) made of high-thickness 18/10 stainless steel. Polished to a mirror finish on the outside and satin-finished on the inside for easier daily cleaning. Contemporary and of great design, suitable for induction and traditional cooktops. With Al Dente, the genius of Konstantin Grcic focuses on the world of cooking, designing this series of pots, saucepans, and pans in stainless steel with a very precise and impactful design. The classic cylindrical shape of the pot finds a new characterization, thanks to the inclined profile of the handles and their large size, designed to provide a safer grip while also being a strong graphic sign, and thanks to the design solution of the lid housed in the body of the pot, which closes securely. Perfect for all induction, gas, electric plate, and ceramic glass cooktops. Al Dente reiterates the characteristics of Serafino Zani's production – the use of high-quality and high-thickness materials, attention to details and finishes, and the use of the special encapsulated thermodiffuser bottom Zani (USA patent) on all cooking pieces – reinterpreted from Grcic's perspective. Good Design Award 2010. Love for well-made things, attention to the relationship between beauty and functionality of the object, pursuit of innovative and original design: this is felt when cooking with a pot made in Italy by Serafino Zani. Serafino Zani still manufactures its pots in the company in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel (inox 18/10). This material is the only one that guarantees maximum hygiene in contact with food, almost eternal durability, and extreme ease of cleaning and maintenance. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure excellent heat distribution and dimensional stability over time. All stainless steel cooking pieces are equipped with a special patented thermodiffuser bottom by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' inside a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this bottom allows for optimal heat distribution across the body of the pot with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using utensils on gas, electric plates, ceramic glass, and induction. All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the body of the pot. The lid fits into a conical shape that prevents it from jumping during cooking and from releasing steam, thus wasting heat unnecessarily. The design philosophy of Serafino Zani has always been based on aesthetic-technological research and maximum satisfaction of the end user, through the creation of high-quality everyday objects that are pleasant to use and do not create discomfort or maintenance difficulties. The pots produced by Serafino Zani are thus high-design objects, with high thicknesses (a synonym for resistance and durability), excellent and accurate finishes, allowing for ease of use and cleaning. The package includes a saucepan with a diameter of 20 cm, without a lid.
