Malvazija G 2019 is an expressive and gastronomic Istrian Malvasia for lovers of full-bodied, textured white wines. The ten-day contact with the skins has given it depth, complexity, and a confident character that develops beautifully in the glass.

Manžan above the Gulf of Koper

The grapes come from a vineyard in Manžan, about 90 meters above sea level. The location offers a view of the Gulf of Koper and the Julian Alps, while the proximity to the sea and the Istrian countryside mark the environment in which the Malvasia matures.

Ten days on the skins

After harvesting, the grapes macerated on the skins for ten days. The longer contact with the berry skins added texture, a more pronounced structure, and complexity to the wine while preserving the distinctive character of Istrian Malvasia.

In the glass

The wine combines ripe fruitiness, delicate herbal notes, minerality, and a pleasant structure. On the palate, it is full yet balanced, with a long finish and the characteristic energy of wines from Manžan. Over time in the glass, its layers connect even more beautifully.

At the table

Malvazija G pairs excellently with seafood dishes, grilled fish, poultry, risottos, roasted vegetables, dishes with Mediterranean herbs, and semi-aged cheeses. Its structure also allows for richer sauces and a more leisurely enjoyment during a multi-course meal.

Serving

Serve slightly chilled in a larger glass. Before drinking, give it some time to open up its aromas, texture, and long finish.
