Malvasia Koza Nostra 2018 comes from a vineyard in Manžan, approximately 90 meters above sea level, overlooking the Gulf of Koper and the Julian Alps. The Malvasia grapes were produced with a low yield per vine and hand-picked at full ripeness.
The wine was created with extended skin contact and patient aging, which gives it depth, texture, and a distinctive character. The aroma intertwines ripe fruit, dried flowers, herbs, delicate spices, and a slight oxidative note. The taste is full, layered, and long, with a structure that beautifully accompanies food.
It pairs excellently with seafood with more character, grilled fish, poultry, pork, roasted vegetables, mushrooms, risottos, herb dishes, and aged cheese.
