Serving dish, oval salad bowl made of high-quality melamine Touch-MeL. Pomegranate offers a decidedly contemporary Pixel Art style, uniquely and originally reinventing the classic fruit decoration. Pastel colors, chromatic variations that evoke details and shades, come to life from the pristine surface of the plates, in a delicate contrast that will certainly not go unnoticed on the table, framed by the elegant and delicate gray 'cloud dancer' edge. Considered the fruit of abundance, the Pomegranate has always been a symbol of fertility, fecundity, and good fortune. The Touch-MeL melamine plates have all the appearance of classic ceramics, combining unique characteristics of lightness, solidity, and resistance to impacts, stains, and scratches. It is said that the goddess Aphrodite planted the first pomegranate tree on the Island of Cyprus, and it has positively influenced beliefs and customs throughout the Mediterranean. In some areas of Greece, it is still customary to share a pomegranate during weddings and to gift each other this fruit on New Year's Eve as a symbol of prosperity and luck. It is also customary to plant a pomegranate tree in the garden where the newlyweds will live, a wish for a lasting and serene marriage. A perfect gift idea, rich in meaning, and definitely contemporary in color. The color of the year 2023 is indeed Viva Magenta, 'a crimson red or carmine red that evokes an optimistic spirit and encourages technological and virtual experimentation.' A warm and bold color that 'aims to awaken the spirit of exploration in human beings,' whose tones take shape in this new decoration. With Touch-MeL, we have taken melamine to a new level of quality. Our plates, bowls with a live edge, and serving dishes capture the beauty and charm of classic ceramics but are made of unbreakable melamine.
