Character: fruit beer, similar to rosé sparkling wine. Alcohol content: 4.6%. Packaging: 500 ml. Full carton: 24 × 500 ml. Ingredients: Spring water, barley malt (gluten), wheat flakes (gluten), hops, fruit purees of cherries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, hibiscus, and yeast. Rosé by Pelicon Although the exact origin of the Berliner Weisse style is unknown, we sought inspiration for our version at the French court. Napoleon referred to it as Champagne du nord, champagne from the north. We aimed for everything expected from a rosé: the color of flushed cheeks, fruity aroma, and gentle acidity. We brewed it to evoke summer evenings. For lovers of fruity flavors and sparkling wines If you are drawn to fruity aromas and gentle acidity in a drink, Rosé is a different way to discover beer. By using selected yeasts, we created a gentle acidity, similar in intensity to that of wine, without pronounced undesirable aromas. The focus is on fruitiness and rosé character, not pronounced hoppy bitterness. Rosé Berliner Weisse is beer, not sparkling wine; the comparison describes its character.
