The Crego e Monaguillo Godello is a white wine made through cold maceration of the Treixadura and Godello varieties, originating from the Denomination of Origin Monterrei, in southern Galicia. A region with its own wine personality where the wines show more structure and minerality than in other Galician denominations.
Organoleptic characteristics
Appearance: pale yellow color with greenish and bright reflections
Nose: fine floral aromas with notes of ripe white fruit and mineral hints
Palate: fresh, elegant, with good structured acidity and a persistent mineral finish
Pairing
Ideal with fine seafood, live Galician oysters, fine clams, and scallops. It also pairs very well with rock fish and the more delicate preparations of Galician cuisine. Serve between 8 and 10°C.
