Handia - Basque Knife - olive wood
BASQUE KNIFE HANDIA is a Basque knife inspired by Japanese design, born in the Basque Country. A rustic Basque tool knife that could have been used by a Basque shepherd.
It features the tip of the blade from L'HIGONOKAMI, which is a classic in Japanese cutlery.
This is a good-sized pocket knife with a locking mechanism. It has a blade made of raw carbon steel.
The choice of carbon steel for this knife is obvious. It is the perfect marriage between cutting efficiency and its very rustic appearance, like the blades of yesteryear.
The appearance of the blade will evolve over time and with use.
The handle is MADE OF OLIVE WOOD.
The total length of the knife is 19cm.
Its blade measures 8cm and 3cm wide.
Dishwasher absolutely prohibited.
Be sure to wipe the blade after use.
