BASQUE KNIFE HANDIA is a Basque knife inspired by Japanese design, born in the Basque Country. A rustic tool knife that could have been used by a Basque shepherd.
It features the tip of the blade from L’HIGONOKAMI, which is a classic of Japanese cutlery.
It is a good-sized pocket knife with a slip joint. It has a blade made of raw carbon steel that has been tempered.
The choice of carbon steel for this knife is obvious. It is the perfect marriage between cutting efficiency and its very rustic appearance, reminiscent of blades from the past.
The appearance of the blade will evolve over time and with use.
