We plant sweet potatoes on 2 hectares of beautiful Slavonian land. We start producing seedlings in February, and when the risk of frost passes, we begin planting outside in mid-May. Sweet potatoes need 90-120 sunny days. They do not like cold and should be stored at 10-15 degrees.

They are very beneficial food for diabetics due to their low glycemic index, which ensures slower glucose absorption, thus avoiding harmful stress on the body. They are also excellent and very acceptable food for children and athletes as they provide energy without contributing to weight gain. Sweet potatoes can be prepared boiled, baked, fried, mashed, as jam, and sweet potato cream pie includes them in desserts.
