From a lineage of Bergerac lords, the young Marguerite de Turenne, passionate about cooking, dedicated her life to gathering local recipes in a manuscript "well from her home." Today, the brand pays tribute to her spirit by crafting its products based on recipes inspired by Lady Marguerite and local culinary tradition. Regarding aioli sauce, it should be noted that aioli, a word coming from the Occitan "alhòli" (garlic + oil), is traditionally an emulsion of garlic and oil (sometimes incorporating an egg yolk in modern versions). Mr. de Turenne offers a carefully crafted culinary version that pairs well with vegetables, meats, fish, or shellfish, while maintaining that Mediterranean spirit inherent to aioli.
