What is Bůčkoláda
Bůčkoláda is a meat spread full of flavors. The base is pork belly, which we roast for several hours to a golden brown with honey, wine, and vegetables. After roasting, we grind everything and add roasted apricots with apricot brandy and for the experience of crunching, also a few mustard seeds.
How it tastes
Bůčkoláda has a consistency similar to pâté or our Škvarkoláda. It has a strong flavor of roasted meat and wine, with pleasant sweet and sour notes of apricots and honey, and a finish with a crunch of mustard seeds and a light spicy end from the mustard.
Usage Tips
Bůčkoláda pairs best with fresh bread or a baguette, similar to Škvarkoláda. It also goes well with sour elements, such as pickles or our Chmelíček.
