The third edition of the joint project between our distillery and the Svachovka distillery. The aim of our friendly collaboration is to show that we can make great
and unconventional whisky in the Czech Republic. In this case, we are presenting a peated whisky made from malt from the Bruntál malt house, maturing in heavily charred virgin oak barrels made from European winter oak from the Bařina cooperage. Old Well also contributed peated whisky made from Scottish barley from the Bairds malt house, which matured in bourbon and Marsala wine casks.
Two years ago, we established two barrels with a ratio of 6 parts GOLDCOCK and 4 parts Old Well. We bottled the first one in January last year, and the second one is coming now. And since we agreed on this with Svachovka, this time it is straight at cask strength!
