Queen of Meads

Cherry mead combines rich honey with the taste of juicy cherries. Thanks to its delicious flavor, it won a gold medal at the prestigious Great American IWC 2017 competition in New York.

This traditional, honest mead from Nivnice has been produced according to an original family recipe since 1973. It is made from the finest Czech honeys using a non-thermal process to preserve all the significant substances in honey. After fermentation, it matures in deep, climate-controlled cellars. Its base consists of honey and water treated with Bio Control System technology. A blend of herbs and spices then gives the mead its unmistakable flavor.

Refreshing in summer, warming in winter

Mead can be consumed chilled or heated. In the summer months, it refreshes wonderfully when served at a temperature of 12-16 degrees Celsius. In winter, we heat the mead in an uncovered container to a maximum temperature of 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, ensuring it does not boil. We can add a slice of lemon to both cold and warm mead.
