Insert the waxed candle into the ear, light it, and the warm air with the "Venturini effect" will draw out plugs, foreign objects, water, and cerumen (earwax). After the procedure, you will definitely hear better and equalize pressure while flying or underwater.
Using the candles is simple: lie on your side in a horizontal position, gently massage the area around the ear, prepare a towel and place it around the ear, insert the candle into the central opening of a cardboard plate - stand (you can also use aluminum foil), light the top of the candle with matches, insert the candle into the ear (the burning part should be on top!), hold the candle vertically until it burns down to the marked line and remove it, then pour water over the remaining candle (for safety, we recommend that you do not use ear candles alone; have someone assist you during the process).
