Legendary herbal liqueur from the times of Hašek's Švejk is back!
The original Polish recipe from 1901, composed of anise, fennel, coriander, and cumin, has been enhanced with five additional herbs, which result in a completely unique taste and aroma that you won't find in any other herbal liqueur. Anise and fennel play the leading roles, making it almost an absinthe-like liqueur.
This entire mixture of herbs was macerated for weeks in distillate from three-year-old mead and then stored in a cellar to mature.
The first batch was established on November 17, 2009, and bottled on December 10, 2010. Since then, Kontušovka has become one of our most popular liqueurs, securing a firm place in our range.
