Slivovitz Aged in Barrels

The unique golden slivovitz was created by the Jelínek brothers and the French company Denis Mounié. At RUDOLF JELÍNEK, we preserve this tradition to this day. Just like with white slivovitz, the production begins with a triple distillation of matured plum mash. However, the resulting distillate is aged in oak barrels. Aging in these barrels transforms the classic slivovitz into a unique distillate characterized by its golden color, a fragrance reminiscent of cognac or brandy, and a harmoniously smooth taste of fruit with a woody undertone.
