A unique digestive liqueur, whose effectiveness in relation to good digestion has been verified by our great-great-grandmother. The drink is obtained by infusing unripe walnuts with the addition of nine types of spices and herbs, including orange peel, calamus, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
The natural bitterness is complemented by a very subtle sweetness, resulting in a liqueur that gains a balanced flavor with a spicy-nutty hint as it ages.
Like all our other products, Walnut Liqueur is entirely natural and fully depends on the harvest and quality of the walnuts from the given year. Individual vintages may vary in the intensity of walnut flavor and aroma. This is not a consistently flavored syrup postmix, but a genuine walnut liqueur of homemade quality.
