Limited Edition Žufánek Pear Brandy, which matured in oak barrel.
The third and for a long time the last product from the series of archival distillates by Žufánek aged in oak barrels. After plum brandy and grape brandy the pear brandy has emerged from the cool calm of our cellar.
This is the same vintage as found in the currently sold bottles of Žufánek Pear Brandy, but this one has matured in a barrel made of French white oak until today. Compared to the clear variant, we bottle this oak one at 40%. It is smoother and the flavors obtained from aging in barrels stand out better.
Almost 13 kilograms of pears were used to produce one liter of pear brandy.
